2005 needs the pry method. Watched a different video and when he said 'pry' I thought BS. Watched more videos and he was correct. it has a plastic pry piece where all the other ones said screw.

After you have the gasket and the plate down use the o ring to hold the key on the shaft. Then slide the impeller all the way down lining up the key and the impeller .. with the impeller all the way down slide the housing over the impeller while turning the shaft you’ll see the impeller suck into the housing then line up all the bolt holes with the housing , the plate and the gasket… don’t worry about the orientation of the veins on the impeller… as soon as you crank the motor it will self correct to the correct position

Thanks for sharing. I have around 10 various Bauer tools now, and I've been extremely impressed with them all. For me, it all started with the 1/4" impact driver. Now I need to add the pole saw to my lineup. Lol
